【Tavern of Spear】 -v0.29d update log
Hello Caro here, this update basically focuses on rebuilding the combat system, so maybe there will be a lot of bugs... Save files that are saved during battles will not continue to work.
But others would still work If there are bugs or you have any advice, feel free to tell me in the Discord bug report channel, and I will fix it ASAP.
====Battle system rebuilding====
【System: Element】
- -All enemy stats will be added to the corresponding "elemental resistances", they will have their own strong resistances and weak resistances.
- -After reaching the Snow Mountain area and finishing Kin's yeti quest, you will be able to enchant the corresponding element into your weapon slot with Kith's help, allowing you to continue to use physical attacks in combat, but also to activate the elements in your weapon to damage some enemies who are immune to pure physical attacks.
- -Kith's element unlocks and upgrades require the appropriate materials, but once unlocked, you can always attach the element to any of your weapons at any time for free.
- Chet will now sell Fire Bomb that deals flaming damage in the tavern.
【System: Weapon Scaling】
- -Add the "Correct Stat" to the weapon, each weapon has a different "Correct Stat", depending on the player's stat points, the weapon will gain additional attack.
【Battle Part】
- Adjusted most enemy attributes
- Enemies now have Dodge Rate and Hit Points, as well as Elemental Resistance
- Remake the item bar and skill bar screens in combat (still needs polishing)
- Add some of the animations in battle (You can close the animations and the item usage confirmation in the menu to let it work like the previous version again too)
- AGI now provides additional attack hit points, and one point of AGI counteracts 2% of an enemy's dodge rate.
- The damage multiplier for Critical damage has been reduced from 200% to 150%
- CHA now affects Flirt's success rate and damage dealt and increases the probability of resisting an enemy's Temptation attack. (Each point of CHA increases the success rate of Flirt by 5% and the success rate of resisting the enemy's seduce attack by 5%)
- Add four new skills, 'Leaping Slash', 'Wolf Stance', 'Sweep', and 'Fantasize'.
- 'Leaping Slash', 'Wolf Stance', and 'Sweep' can be learned when leveling up to lv 3, 7, and 12. 'Fantasize' will be unlocked with "Flirt" together.
- Increased the minimum damage the player can inflict.
- Increased the player's DEF by 3
【Difficulty Selection】
- Now you can select the game difficulty.
- Easy mode: An easier difficulty for those who are inexperienced at RPG games and mainly want to experience the story. Enemy attack/defense reduced by 50%
- Normal mode: The default difficulty for this game. The EXP gained when defeating an enemy and the probability of the enemy dropping an item become 150%(the drop rate bonus is not ready yet)
- The easy mode would inherit the same current drop rates and amount of experience gained in the game we have now while neff the enemy, so it doesn't mean reducing, I just going give more EXP and drop rate to the players who continue to stick with normal mode.
- You can always change this option in your room in the tavern.
===New scene====
【Horace】
- -The trigger conditions for this scene are not yet ready in the game, but you can get a sneak preview.
- Talk to Horace when he is outdoors of the tavern to view this scene for now
===Other====
- -Improved the logic of displaying the number of items From now on, items in the store that are available indefinitely will no longer show their number as 99. The number of unique equipment and key items in the player's backpack will no longer be displayed as
===Bug fixed====
- Fixed the bug that selling an item of 0 value with the player has no coins in bag would causes backpack crashes
- Maybe fixed the bug that some Android phones will crash when entering the game/ clicking "start game"
